GOLF
There are five 18 hole golf courses
in the Limousin region, all of them open to visitors. Two

EQUESTRIAN
There are many equestrian centres
in the Limousin (approximately 30 at the last connt) offering pony
trekking and dressage with qualified instructors. Available by the
hour, half day, day or longer. Click on the icon for a selection of

FISHING
At least 12 lakes are open all year round for fishing. In the Limousin
there are over 2,240 kms of riverbank for fishing of which 1,956 km
is classed as prime trout and salmon water (category 1), the remainder
for predatory fish species (category 2). Check out the Lakes

CYCLING
The Limousin region is the perfect
venue for cycling and particularly mountain biking. There are hundreds
of marked trails for the latter and all terrain bikes can be hired
locally at the tourist information offices. Visit our walks

/ SAILING
Windsurfing
and sailing facilities are available on many of the regions lakes,
kayaking is available at Chatelus le Marcheix, just 15 minutes from
Les Hirondelles cottages. |
